Masterclass DVDs

I just wanted to bring to your attention that last year Jones Library purchased some 30 DVDs of masterclasses by renowned artists. These are published by the Masterclass Media Foundation, and they include artists such as Emanuel Ax, Maxim Vengerov, Thomas Quasthoff, Evelyn Glennie, and more. Repertoire ranges from Bach to Messiaen to Minoru Miki. Many of the classes were conducted at the Royal Academy and the Verbier Festival. You can see the list of discs at http://198.30.145.251/search~S3/X?SEARCH=(masterclass%20media)&searchscope=3&SORT=D. These circulate to students for three days. Please come and check them out.
